What a fantastic Memorial Day. God knows I needed a relaxing weekend, and we had just that. Friday night we hung out with some great friends, Saturday we got some stuff done around the house and had a nice dinner a local joint, Joyce's, that we had laughed at/wanted to try for a while. You went back in time a bit once you walked in, but the food was fabulous! And then Sunday we headed up to the lake. It was supposed to be a family lake weekend, but my sister and her family used the weekend to move into their temporary house for the next few months while renovating their house. So, it was the rents, us, and my new little sis/co-worker, Brooke!
Brooke is a family friend who moved down to Texas from Chicago to help with recruiting at TK! Its so nice to have someone helping me this summer during the craziness at work! Brooke is wonderful!
Here is our Sunday in a nutshell...
On Monday, we took the boat out and met some friends who were out on the lake for the day!
Three day weekends are never long enough... Happy Memorial Day!
