One of Blake's all time favorite bands, Mumford and Sons, played in Austin this weekend. They are actually playing in Houston on Wednesday, but we had originally thought we were going to be out of town that day so we decided to make a mini trip to Austin. We stayed at Hyatt Lost Pines and were able to lay by the pool, have dinner, and relax a little before hand.
The concert was at the brand new Austin 360 Amphitheater. The venue was awesome! Its similar to the Woodlands Pavillion, but better.
A park inside the venue. What is awesome is that they have a ton of food trucks inside. On our way our we grabbed a tamale from an organic tamale truck. Yummm!
During the opening acts, we went up to the lawn and met my friend, Will!
Tickets were really hard to come by. We had two actual seats, but they weren't together. Luckily, we just hung out in one empty isle seat since everyone was standing the whole time anyway.
My cute husband was soooo excited to be there. I mean, this has been on the bucket list for a couple of years. We just never could make it work until now.
It was such a fun night. They are absolutely amazing in concert. If you are a fan, you MUST go!
