Emerson is 5 months! Holy cow. Where does the time go?! She loves to be sung to....all day long. Some favorites are Do a Dear (real name of the song?) and Favorite Things. I don't know why they are both from A Sound of Music since I've never even seen that movie. Her clogged tear duct finally cleared this month. She puts everything in her mouth and has discovered her feet. Her eyes get more blue every day it seems. She can often be found watching one of her many Baby Einstein DVDs or playing in her Exersaucer.

This might be my favorite thing about her. Her stretches every morning when shee wakes up after I unswaddle her. The facial expressions are amazing.

We headed to the lake for Labor Day. The big kiddos love her.

She had her first boat ride. The smallest life jacket they make was ginormous on her. So cute!
She hated the life jacket and screamed the whole time in it while on the boat. Yes, I took it off of her. We were going slow and I had a death grip on her.

She also had her first swim in a kiddie pool.
