On Saturday night B and I had a fancy date night out at the theatre. We saw the Lion King at Hobby Center. I went when I was in high school with the fam, but Blake had never seen it so when we saw it was coming to Houston we jumped on in. Before the show we had dinner at Artista which is literally inside the Hobby Center. I had never been before, and it was great! Blake got some beef that had been marinated for 30 days!
The show was just as good or better than I remember. The costumes are out of this world. That was the best part - seeing all the animal costumes. I posted a pic of the giraffes below because they were my favorite! If you have not seen the Lion King it is definitely worth doing.
Such a fun date night! :)
