Meet Jack!

The day finally arrived. We went out to Cypress to pick Jack up on Valentine's Day. My mom came with Blake and I partly because she has an obsession for cats and partly because she wanted one herself. Ummmm there were literally 20 cats in this house. Sure, half of them were kittens getting adopted, BUT half were full grown felines!! I mean, they were everywhere. It was just plain nuts. The breeders are really sweet, however, they do have 20 cats.

When we walked in Jack was sleeping on Mr. Cat Lady's chest. He was sooo cute. I instantly fell in love. We were there for about 45 minutes and lo and behold my mom put down a deposit on a kitten. Kitten X is three weeks younger than Jack so she will go pick him up in early March. I just love kittens. Now, Jack will have a playmate his age when/if he has to go stay over at grandma's house.

He was a little scared coming home in the carrier and for the first 12 hours or so had an upset tummy (di di) because of all the stress. Now, he is 100% better and cute as a button.

He likes sleeping, eating, cuddling, biting fingers, his tummy rubbed, blankets, and feathers. He doesn't like loud noises, being confined, water, his vitamins, or his cat bed (he likes the human bed instead).

He sleeps with us in bed. I know, bad habit, but how can you say no to this little nugget??? Blake is really worried about rolling over and smushing him in the middle of the night so we are still not sleeping great, but it is worth it.
It's official - Jack has stolen mommy's heart, and also daddy's, although he will never admit it to his friends. Come over and meet the little guy!
