Well, our family decided to up and skip Thanksgiving this year. We headed to Puerto Vallarta, Mexico for five days and rented a house on the beach. It was really nice to get away although pesky hurricane Sandra was in the pacific so it literally rained most of the time. We had a reprieve the last full day we were there and then of course it was clear blue skies the day we left.
We had a photographer come take a few family pics one day. They were supposed to be on the beach but it was raining. Here are some of the best.
This is where we hung out all the time.
Family beach pic! I just love E's bathing suits.
First time on the beach.
And first encounter with sand.
She wasn't a fan of the cold pool water.
We went out to dinner for my mom's birthday at Le Kliff. Emmy bear in her cute Mexican dress.
Matching Mi Golondrina.
Mommy daughter selfie. :)
We had a chef cook us three meals a day.
Of course they guys had to watch the TCU/Baylor game. Only American sports bar in PV.
The rest of us headed home before the game was over, but FROGS for the WIN!!
A lot of boogie boarding took place.
One night Blake and I went into PV for date night at a great restaurant on the beach called La Palapa. Killer food.
Poor E was scared of the waves. I don't blame ya sugar plum, they were huge and powerful.
Memorized by sand.
Our views the morning we left. So calm and pretty!
Until next time, Mexico!
