This little love bug turned two months old last week. She is smiling at us now and it melts my heart. Almost every time we go in to get her from a nap or in the morning after she wakes up we get a huge smile. She is an extremely alert and spirited baby that does not like to miss out on anything. This makes for poor napping during the day which makes it hard for this mama to get things done. For example, this blog post took four days to complete. :)
Poor thing has silent reflux. She doesn't actually spit up all that much, but she will cry and fuss after almost every meal because it burns. We have her on baby Zantac which only helps a little. We also have to keep her up right for at least 30 minutes after she eats to help keep things down and burp her often. This probably also contributes to the short naps, and her refusal to get on a schedule. The doctor said that she should grow out of it by 6 months.

This little rocker was Blake's dad's chair growing up, then it was Blake's when he was little, and now it is Emerson's. I had a little slipcover made for it, and the pillow was given to me at my shower. So neat to have a family heirloom like this.
We got to have a fancy night out at a friends wedding. I feel like all we did was talk about her.
