New Years in the Mountains

Happy New Year! We just got back from spending a week in the mountains. We went up on New Years Eve, which so happened to be my dad's 65th birthday. We spent the night hanging out at the club.

Dad and daughters. Jud in back.

The cute rents.

The birthday boy!

I spent a couple of days not ever getting out of my pajamas and hanging with this dude.

We skied a couple of days. For being January, there wasn't a whole lot of snow. The whole mountain was open, but it was very much like spring skiing.

Miller got so good a skiing this year. By the end of the week he even skied a black!

Me and Blake on the ski lift. How cute.

One day we went on a Durango adventure. My parents drove Blake and I to this area where all the local high school and college kids hang out in the summer time. There are huge boulders by a river and people lay out and jump off of the rocks into the river. Sounds fun!

On a look out point up by Fort Lewis College. Not too much snow.

At Steamworks one night. The boys didn't want to pause their games to look at the camera.

The second day we skied it snowed so hard. So, we had to take a lunch and hot chocolate break. I love skiing on fresh snow! Can't wait to go back in a few weeks!
