My best friend got married last weekend, so my whole family took a few days off work to do some of the Williamsburg touristy stuff before the wedding. We headed out on Wednesday morning and stayed at the Williamsburg Winery. It was such a cute colonial boutique hotel. There were only 28 rooms and each room was different.
On Thursday we went to Old Town Williamburg for the day. It was really cool! It is a complete re-enactment of Williamsburg in the 1700's. Below is the fam in front of Jefferson's mansion.

Thursday afternoon we met Katie and Austin for lunch right outside of Old Town. 
After lunch we headed to the Beard's Country Club (where the wedding took place) to check it out and have a drink. It was such a gorgeous day!
On Thursday night the fam ate dinner in Old Town at the Kings Arms Tavern. The whole place is only lit by candlelight and all the servers are in their 1700's character. It was so fun and the food was delish!

Back then, everyone used napkins called yard napkins. Everyone tied these huge napkins around their neck (kinda like you are at a crawfish boil). 
My beer came in an old timey beer mug.
Friday at Noon we had the bridal luncheon at one of their family friends home. The hostess is a gourmet cook, and our lunch consisted of five courses. It was heaven.
The rehearsal dinner on Friday night was at a super nice French restaurant. There were about 40 people there and it was a great time. Katie and Austin's slide show made me cry!
WEDDING DAY! All the bridesmaids went and got our makeup done first thing on Saturday morning. Then two hairstylists came to Katie's moms house to do our hair. We hung out for a while, ate lunch, and got glam.
