Sunny and 75

We got a reprieve from the nasty Houston heat and humidity last week by going to Durango. The first couple of times E went up there she didn't do so well. This time she did great! Thank God. She loves to be outdoors and since its been so gross in Houston we haven't been outside for a while.

Flying with a toddler is WAY harder than flying with an infant. Infants sleep. Toddlers do not. Toddlers also do not sit still. She wore me out on both flights!

The day we got their we rode with Daddy for 9 holes of golf.

We played a game called pie face where you basically get whip cream thrown on your face. Not my idea of a fun game... :)

Blake and I went on a hike to Ice Lake in Silverton. We didn't make it to the top because of time restraints, but it was a very pretty hike. Hard at 11,000 feet, but pretty.

We had to cross over a river on logs!

Miller caught a horned frog on our walk one morning. Emmy didn't know what to think.

The five of us went into town one day and had lunch at the cutest crepe place.

She was mesmerized by the saxophone.

Not sure whats going on here. Stare off?

One day we rented these razors and went on the Alpine Loop jeep trail. It was really fun!

At the top - Cinnamon Pass. 12,900 feet.

There was a hill full of thousands of sheep. They were everywhere. We even saw a couple black sheep!

Miles and Mayes didn't want to take the picture. I don't blame them, it was freezing up there!

The next day Blake left to go on a golf trip with his college buddies. E and I stayed in Colorado.

We went on lots of walks.

Piggies!

James Ranch is my favorite place to go.

Miller was so great with E! He played with her on the playground a lot.

Until December...
