I want to move to Vancouver, and I am being 100% serious. I loved it there. Everything about it. The city was immaculately clean and beautiful, there is very little crime, and you can bike everywhere.
On our way to the city we stopped at the Capilano Suspension Bridge Park. The bridge is 460 feet long over a canyon. It sits 230 feet above the canyon floor, and it was originally built in 1889. It was pretty wobbly, and I loved it.
The trees were so huge.
We then headed to Vancouver and the six of us had dinner at L'Abbitoir in the trendy Gastown district.
We were the last ones standing on Sunday so Blake and I explored Vancouver. We took a bike ride all throughout the city. Just about every street had bike lanes separated by a curb from traffic. Great for me since I'm not the best on a bike.
We biked through and around Stanley park which is kind of like the central park of Vancouver.
We then took a sea plane tour of Vancouver and the surrounding mountains. So neat. A little scary, but neat.
Olympic torch!
Never have I seen a city that has both mountains and the ocean together. The weather was awesome, and the people were so nice. Vancouver, I'm coming for ya. It might take a while, but I'll get there.
Our last night we had massages and ordered room service.
What a wonderful trip!
