Mother's Day

Mother's Day weekend was just wonderful. The three of us went to a Round Top, Texas bed and breakfast for Saturday night. Emmy loved being out in the country! We stayed at the Prairie by Rachel Ashwell. Rachel is an interior designer who does a lot of rustic and shabby chic stuff. It was really neat for me to see. Not my everyday style, but really fun for a weekend.

When we got there we had a beer on the front porch in the rocking chairs and listened to music. My best friend, Katie, gave us these super cute matching outfits. A girl we knew in high school started a clothing line and these are her brand, The Natalie DeAyala Collection.

We went for a little walk to see the Moo Cows.

Practicing our walking!

The front of our cottage.

House tour. The house was built in the 1800s.

Loves playing in sheets and blankets.

We grabbed dinner in town and then sat on the back porch and watched the sunset after E went to bed. Then we played gin rummy for a couple hours.

Opening cards and gifts in the morning!

We had a full country breakfast!

I love this girl with everything I have. So so thankful you made me a mama!

We then had lunch at Royal Oaks. All the cousins!

Emmy decided to take her first steps on Mother's Day for me! She took three in a row and then sat down. It was exactly at 13 months. Yay Emmy!
